New Product Licensing Cooperative

Innovation Institute

About Us

We conceived many electronic inventions utilized by major corporations, e.g.: AT&T, Casio, Panasonic, Matsushita, Yamaha, etc.

Steve C. Kays established Innovation Institute’s New Product Licensing Cooperative. It’s roots date from1977 when he lived went to high school in Tokyo. He offered business English conversation practice sessions to exporters from his house in Roppongi 2-1-38, Tokyo. The US Embassy owned the house as his father was the US Press Attaché.

Innovation Institute helps electronic inventors, from all continents with developing and transferring electronic technology. It normally promotes inventions it and or it’s partners developed.  Steve conceives most of the electronic inventions marketed. Policy is to receive electronic inventions and improvements, from associates who have pre-signed profit sharing agreements.  Other inventions are to be actively registered with the patent office before.

Innovation Institute developed the largest known military conversion program in the Former Soviet Union in the early to mid 1990’s (before the major decay in the region’s ethics). It helped the communist world’s electronic engineers apply their military skills to the private sector.  This was a way of keeping well educated but impoverished engineers from selling electronic technology to elicit parties.

St Petersburg and Kiev received most of our focus, with smaller operations in Moscow and other regions in the Former Soviet Union. We helped thousands of inventors and electronic engineers. Much of our assistance went to the region’s top technical universities like the St Petersburg State Technical Institute, ranked both best and second, in the Former Soviet Union.

Free patent rights and help are given to less developed countries, and charities. Though we don’t warrant anything except as signed, we work towards helping others. We donate office suites, and conference rooms to charities, and a local Democratic Party Headquarters (Steve respects, and does business with those having different views). Many of our business clients might  be Republican.

Most of Innovation Institute’s patent licensing work is done from the San Francisco Inner Bay Area, plus Fairfield (25 minutes from Berkeley). Despite some confusion, we may have done business with, but are not part of Wal-Mart or other institutes. Innovation Institute and California Business Center are divisions of CBC Services, LLC, established and owned by Steve C. Kays. The 75 suite office building //California Business Center (business incubator page)// is one California’s larger business incubators.
